Research Environment

Center for interdisciplinary research in rehabilitation and social integration (Cirris)

Cirris (www.cirris.ulaval.ca) is one of the four research centers of the CIUSSS Capitale-Nationale and is affiliated with Université Laval (Quebec City, Canada; www.ulaval.ca).
Research activities carried out at the Cirris focus on the personal factors (disabilities and limitations) and the environmental factors (obstacles and facilitating factors) that have an impact on social participation of individuals with physical disabilities.
The Cirris promotes the development of evidence-based practices through knowledge transfer, the research expertise of its members, and the collaboration with different sectors (clinical, government and communities).
