Research project

Application of Machine Learning Algorithms in Surface Mining Operations

Description

Mining companies are rapidly transforming their operations from conventional manned activities to intelligent autonomous operations. In this transition, the companies need to replace several equipment and tools with the intelligent ones. Decision-making tools such as fleet management systems and production planners are not excluded. In this project, the admitted candidate will be investigating application of machine learning algorithms in the transformation of mining to intelligent operations.
