Development of mechatronic assistance technologies for adaptation, prevention, and rehabilitation

Description

The objective of the Rehabilitation Engineering group at Laval University is to develop advanced technologies (robotics, mechatronics, intelligent algorithms) to assist individuals living with disabilities and the elderly, as well as to prevent musculoskeletal injuries in the workplace. The team, composed of about ten students and two research engineers, is part of the Interdisciplinary Center for Research in Rehabilitation and Social Integration (Cirris) and the Center for Research in Robotics, Vision, and Machine Intelligence (CeRVIM).
